Gianluigi Nocco, an architect and photographer, was born in Rome, where he continues to live and work. over the past several years, he has channeled his time and passion into fostering a deeper understanding of environments typically encountered only through media lenses, engaging with these subjects through both photographic reportage and humanitarian volunteer work.

Through his creative research, Nocco seeks to transcend the limitations of a "fixed gaze" one that often reduces the unfamiliar to an object of mere exotic curiosity. His work strives to illuminate the profound connections between worlds and individuals who, though physically distant, share the inherent extraordinary nature of the human experience.
